Who we are . . .

Chùa Thanh Tinh -- Temple of Tranquility -- in Rochester, New York, is a Buddhist temple stemming from Vietnamese traditions.

Specifically speaking, our traditions are of the Mahayana "Pure Land" school, but a significant part of the temple is dedicated to the Zen traditions of Bodhidharma.

We have recently moved to our new location at 105 Lowden Point Road, very near the shoreline of Lake Ontario.

The Temple building also serves as a community center for Vietnamese in the Western New York area, but all are welcome!
